Rifle Sling,  Pattern 1854, Infantry with brass buckle

There is a lot of confusion as to which rifle slings were supplied to the Confederacy by the British Trade. Reading Bary & Burts' "Suppliers to the confederacy" Pages 142 - 145, they are of the opinion that the Pattern 54 with buckle (as depicted here) and the trade pattern below were issued. Rifle Sling,  Baker/Brunswick Pattern, Infantry with brass buckle

As Brunswick rifles were purchased by the confederacy early in the war, these would have been sent with them?
